No, but we highly encourage students to live on campus to fully experience campus life at KU.
- Students in TPE use the same process that all KU students use to choose on-campus housing.
- Students in TPE are not required to be roommates with other students in the KU TPE program.

Students in KU TPE live independently like other KU students. KU TPE staff help facilitate communication and problem-solve if needed.

- Students in TPE attend class independently. KU TPE does not provide adult assistance in the form of para support.
- Students in TPE can access all KU student support systems, such as the KU Writing Center, tutoring, Student Access Center, etc…
- KU TPE provides Academic coaching to all students. This is typically group study sessions with other KU students who are trained and supported by TPE staff.
- The KU TPE Academic Advisor meets with students weekly to review coursework and other academic related topics.

Because students in TPE are bona fide KU students, they may attend and participate in all student activities, including sporting clubs/organizations and events.
Students in TPE apply and interview for jobs related to their career goals, just like other KU students.
